BRANTFORD, ON- The Brantford 99ers have announced that they have completed a trade with the Buffalo Jr. Sabres, sending defenceman Cole Smith stateside in exchange for goaltender Dylan Grover and a PDF.
Grover, 19, a 6’5″ 182 pound native of Rochester, NY was drafted in Round 8 #143 overall by the Sarnia Sting in the OHL Priority Selection in 2020. Dylan has spent his last 2 seasons in Jr. B before promoting to Jr. A this season, getting 2 games in with the Cobourg Cougars before switching to the Jr. Sabres. Grover holds a 2-0-0 record with Buffalo, a .926 save percentage and a 2.00 goals against average.
